Grading

Below is the scale used to assign the composite grades:
100.00-99.00 A+ Outstanding
98.99-98.00 A+ Honors
97.99-93.0 A
92.99-85.00 B
84.99-75.00 C
74.99-69.50 D
Below 69.50 F

Final Examinations were given on July 22 and 23, 2002. Final grades were mailed out on July 31.

At 10:00 am on Friday, July 26, the Closing Day Assembly began in Magoffin Auditorium. Guest speaker was Richard Martinez from White Sands Missile Range. Each student who successfully completed the program received a Certificate of Completion.

Students who received special recognition were selected by the individual instructors according to classroom performance. One exemplary student from first, second, and third year participants was selected for recognition. Each of these students received a TI83 graphing calculator. The Overall Outstanding student received an additional plaque.

The Assembly adjourned at 11:30 A.M. Following the closing day ceremonies the program participants were treated with recreational activities.
