The presentations we did were the one on “Dust Storms”,” Air Pollution” and “Water Pollution”. There were about 20-30 people; mostly adults that work with other environmental groups in Cd. Juárez.

We hand them some of our pamphlets and a couple of posters provided by the U.S. Consulate.

Earth Weekend at the Zoo
April 22-23, 2006

We were assigned a booth at the El Paso Zoo, right next to the aviary and the monkeys.  In our booth we had a “Dust Storms” poster, pamphlets, some of the activities that we normally use during our presentations (cross-words, puzzles, word search) and the tornado simulator.  We also had the chance to give a short presentation before the sea lion exhibit.
