When the study has received approval from the IRB, a conditional approval letter will be provided. The investigator should then forward this letter to the relevant school district administration with the request for formal approval. Once approval has been provided by the school district, the investigator will need to create a new package on IRBNet, upload the approval letter from the school district, sign, and submit the study to the IRB again for final approval. PIs need to add to the assent form, that if "the student feels distressed while participating in the study that they should contact the school counselor" followed by the school counselor's name and phone number.
