- Responsibilities: Gain hands-on-experience on the specific steps required to develop a successful start-up business based upon scientific research developed at UTEP. Specific emphasis is in researching the market and developing business plans. In addition, you will be trained in the entrepreneurial process and assist with tasks required in an entrepreneurship support center. Other projects & tasks are as assigned and directed by a supervisor.
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities: self-motivated, willing to learn, adapt quickly to change, and work effectively under ambiguous conditions with little supervision. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 3.0 GPA, Full time Undergraduate student interested in entrepreneurship and technology commercialization. Good written English skills.
- Preferred: Bilingual; reliable transportation; undergraduate Engineering, Science or Business major; Juniors and Seniors Undergraduates or Masters students.
