University of Texas at El Paso
Pan American Center for Earth and Environmental Studies

As a NASA University Research Center on the campus of the University of Texas at El Paso, a primary function of PACES is to disseminate data about the Earth system and enable the productive use of science and technology in the public and private sectors. To this end, PACES maintains a large collection satellite and aircraft imagery and related data covering most of the Southwestern United States and Northern Mexico.

Our Landsat TM archive covers the southwestern U.S. in its entirety. We are continuing to acquire Landsat ETM+ data for the southwest United States, and we now have coverage for Texas, New Mexico and Arizona, most of Colorado, as well as northern Mexico.

Data from PACES, with a few exceptions, is available for a nominal cost of reproduction fee by submission of a data request.
