Guadalupe Corral, Ph.D.
Manager of REAS

Dr. Corral has a strong foundation in research methodologies and statistical analysis. She has conducted evaluations for such entities as the City of El Paso, Fort Bliss, Upper Rio Grande Workforce Solutions, El Paso First Health Network, El Paso Chamber of Commerce, and UTEP’s Professional Public Programs. She is currently the independent evaluator for a variety of student-centered programs at UTEP which are funded by such agencies as the NIH, NSF, DoED, and HHMI. She also serves as an instructor for UTEP’s Masters of Leadership Studies and as an adjunct professor for Excelsior College, where she teaches research methods and applied statistics for the social and behavioral sciences. Aside from program evaluation, her research interests also include social issues in public policy, social inequality within the criminal justice system, and attitude and social categorization processes.
Lizely Madrigal-Gonzalez, Ed. D.
Program Evaluator

Dr. Lizely Madrigal-Gonzalez is a Program Evaluation Research Specialist for the Research Evaluation and Assessment Services (REAS) unit under the Office of Research & Sponsored Projects at the University of Texas at El Paso. In the past, she worked as a program evaluator for the Ysleta Independent School District, the El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and El Paso Empowerment Zone Corporation. Dr. Madrigal-Gonzalez has academic knowledge and actual work experience in evaluation design, qualitative and quantitative methods including descriptive and analytical statistics, educational research, policy analysis, student information systems, and data-driven decision making. Dr. Madrigal-Gonzalez has also served as an external program evaluator for the Workforce Solutions Borderplex. Dr. Madrigal earned a Master’s Degree in Sociology from San Diego State University in 2001, with a concentration in Research Methods. She completed a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from New Mexico State University in 2004. She entered the Educational Leadership doctoral program at the University of Texas at El Paso in 2007. She received her doctorate degree in Educational Leadership with a specialization in Policy, Evaluation and Technology in May 2012. Dr. Madrigal-Gonzalez is also a lecturer for the Chicano Studies Department.
Jeni Clark, BSME, MBA
Program Evaluator

Ms. Clark is an independent program evaluator who works with university faculty/staff Principal Investigators to develop comprehensive evaluation plans, analyze whether program activities and services further the goals and objectives of the programs and write formative and summative reports. A variety of research sources and databases are used to conduct, analyze, make inferences and provide findings and recommendations. She supervises and trains students in program evaluation, as well as other duties as needed. Ms. Clark also has 15 years of consulting and leadership experience in product innovation, market research and business planning. She was previously the Associate Director for UTEP’s Center for Research Entrepreneurship & Innovative Enterprises. She also worked as a mechanical engineer for Delphi and continues to volunteer for a variety of non-profit organizations.
